A 60 year old gentleman presents with dysphagia. This initially began with solids and he is now gradually finding it increasingly more difficult to swallow liquids. He has also noticed that he has lost several kilos in weight over the past few months. He has no previous medical history however is a heavy drinker and smoker. On examination he looks cachectic and there is evidence of tenderness in the epigastrium. What investigation should be organised?
